creating a lady cave

wow what humble beginnings, we felt like the luckiest people in the world to be living in our caravan in our beautiful fairy forest

but alas the may rains were whispering their arrivals in the wind, we had to build fast and with no money how???  $200 on wood and alot of dismantled pallets, iron from the dump, the gifts just kept on coming.

our wonderful house was built with luck and love, this was our lounge, dining and kitchen, im still not sure how we did it so well, look at that beautiful colourful mess xxxx

the day came to move the abandoned home to our new home so we could cherish it forever and thank this shanty of memories for our amazing start together.  3 days of towing, every strategy every thought up to move the house of junk, who thought it would be this hard....

the huge kauri bi fold windows were taken out for the move, i cleaned as the men towed, so pleased my darling shanty would have a new life..

precicely placed in its little nook....

oh joy!

goodbye burnt orange, your new colour is ever green

a welcoming step was made of old bricks and mud, a solid front step for welcoming its new guests

the concrete mud technician, monitoring how wet the mixture is..bless my practical child xx

meditative moulding and the hunting of treasures to make a beautiful display of creative fingers work,
big and little fingers he he, indis stones are at the front

but hmmm, its still too small to become an art room to create treasures, lets call dave  : )

down with the walls and up with the floor, do you like the wave design in the roof,
me and kelly could patent this style

and the addition is on, just like that, yay hurrry and finish so i can decorate tee hee

everyone helped out, builders big and small  xxx

so here we are now, we have two french wwoofers ( willing workers on organic farms) and they painted my whole room, it took them 3 days, 3 painful fidly coats, bless their souls

are you ready to take a peek inside??

not just yet we havent finished painting, look ive even roped kelly into painting, he must be able to see how desperate and itching i am to get it pretty

so starts your tour, i have to warn that i have only had one day to tidy and put things together so these are not finished photos, i need furniture, after living in a caravan for so long one dosent accumulate much furniture

knock knock....we want to come in!

lets take a peek inside...

my make shift desk till i find perfection, a bit hard in houhora...

so many treasure to unpack, being watched over by Saraswati for wise choices

white white white, any one who knows me must think this white thing is so out of character,
i have gained so much confidence in beleiving in my path from reading a blog 'a fanciful twist'
Vanessa has inspired me to have a space of my own where my creations are free in their own world to become real.  And doing this in such a pure environment of white fresh beauty is something i feel i need, back to the basic sheshe, refinding what makes me tick insteading of ticking to keep in time with everyone else..

bird cages for 'Paper Moon Exhibition'

old barn doors for an ideas board, memory wall, inspiration....

old meets old meets older....

where the magic happens, anyone have a huge desk they would like to see right here???

catch the dream as it tries to float by....

seeds shelf for this is the seedery too, this amazingly ugly but beautiful vase was from my late nanee, bless her soul, she made me drive 4 hours to pick it up because she was afraid it would smash in the post, and of course there was the 4 hour drive home again xxx

old fairy party things from times long ago

more seeds....

sunset shadows.....

maybe an afternoon cup of tea....

or a crafting party for more, eewww i feel good creative times ahead...

so much material and bits and bobs to use...

the most beautiful lights to put up.....

i wonder if i remember how to paint anything but my nails???

Indi's dolls house, im thinking im going to do it up 'Trelise Cooper Interiors' style

so the first tour is over, a lot of prettiness to do, please come back and see how
were going here in the lady cave

its always nice when people stop by, oh heres a visitor now, Mr Crickini...

my expensive and high tech locking system!!...

This is where it all began, you are being allowed a sneak peek into my brain xxx
