So I have taken some photos of my halfway projects, here you may be able to see why I am a sometimes blogger and would love to be a constant blogger
I am so obsessed with handsewing, especially on my dummy, I just love building dresses, the problem may be if I sell them the time it has taken will make then along the lines of $$priceless$$
I adore this sleeve
the most relaxing craft I do
more hand sewing, these are little fabric russian dolls, which are addictive, they are so small, 4'' tall, about 6cm, fabric hand sewn bodies
and painted bead faces
the possobilities are endless. Its a great way to use all your very little bits of pretty fabric
more pretty fabric for a line of bags Im making, 8 in all
handsewn, machine sewn, screen printed, embroidered, I love these
who thought I would have such paitence for hand sewing when I used to be a speed demon, ohh the changes I have made
and this is why we dont paint at 5.30am, anyone notice a problemn here??? yep, that is not how you spell Patience! What a bumber, Im still not in the mood to try and fix it yet, just hide it from myself for a while
My favorite place to be, on a very quiet day, thinking up things and making them real
like these shrine books I did for my exhibition over a year ago and never finished
I had carved out the fronts
and now I have done Labrynths further in, so you can sit and meditate and follow the path with your finger
it is truly relaxing
cord material waiting to become little girl pants
a line of hand decorated tights awaiting cuffs and elastic
half mulched gardens I will one day get back too
and this wonderful picket fence that I salvaged from the Homestead, I took the battens off the old fence, de nailed them and cut them down, renailed them to new wood
and got a man to help me rehang them in front of our house
what is it about a picket fence, maybe it speaks to the old souls in us, I love it
so now Im weeding the side gardens to finally get them planted after 5 years! woops
yeah it will be nice when they look a little different to the lawn
my winter veges are getting there too, they look so lush, especially when in summer it turns into a desert in my garden, poor plants dont stand a chance
working in lots of seaweed and poo
while still taking time to smell the flowers
then running back inside to referee Miss 3 with the poor new kitten Louie, for some starnge reason he cannot get enough of this girl
possibly 15 books on the go at one time! We all love variety!
daily washing of olives, curing in salt brine, its gonna be a yummy summer! with lots of yummy olives!
and then there are the daily surprises of 3 year old curiosity with have me standing still speechless, which she can translate to "what the bleep are you doing!!!!!!"
I adore planning so this party is so exciting for me
garage sale ing for new plates and cups
researching tasty treats
with such amazing books, arent cook books just so beautiful these days, I adore them
so just a few half ways there things
cant wait to see the finished projects I bet!!
yeah me too
thanks for watching
